Over the course of two sessions, Peta will guide you through the fundamentals of Boro stitching. How to complete a Boro pouch or coasters. BYO DEVICE. This 4-Week practical course helps participants build confidence using their own smartphones, tablets, and laptops for everyday digital tasks. Participants bring their own devices (BYO device) and learn how to set them up, maintain them, and use them more effectively. Topics include managing notifications, storage, updates, battery life, backups, and basic security, as well as developing stronger email skills such as organising inboxes, sending attachments, and recognising phishing scams. The course also introduces Windows computer basics, web browsers, cloud storage, and safe software installation. In addition, participants learn essential productivity skills using programs like Microsoft Word and Excel, along with free alternatives, and practical tasks such as connecting printers, using USB drives, and organising files. By the end of the course, participants can confidently manage their devices, communicate online, and complete everyday computer tasks independently.
