Dying With Dignity
In July 2021, WA became the second state in Australia to legalise voluntary assisted dying. This was due in no small part to the efforts of Dying with Dignity WA which since the 1980s had been advocating for enhanced choice at the end of life. Dying With Dignity WA president Steven Walker will present a free information session and lead a discussion on this sensitive topic at the South Perth Learning Centre, 10 am Thursday 12 September.

The Goodbye Guide
Getting your affairs in order creates peace of mind for everyone concerned and results in far less work for those left behind. But what does ‘getting your affairs in order’ actually entail? To expand on this, Chris Jeffery from Council on the Ageing WA came up with The Goodbye Guide checklist, hear him discuss this guide on this ABC radio interview. Chris will present a free information session on The Goodbye Guide at the South Perth Learning Centre, 1:30 pm am Thursday 10 October.
