Our new Indonesian teacher Ciska Parsons has introduced a culinary component to the SPLC Indonesian classes. In this video below, Indonesian Converation student Peter O'hehir, has put together a slideshow of photos from one of the Indonesian cooking sessions, along with a narration in Bahasa Indonesia:

Hello everybody hopefully you are well. On thursday Ciska, Daphne and myself,Peter prepared lunch for students for the other classes and staff at the SPLC. We cooked Belado, Ciska, Daphne and myself brought food from home. We started cooking at 9.00.am.then after 2 hours we had finished, then we invited the sudents from the other classes and staff to join us to try the food, many of the other students had never tasted Indonesion food before, but they really liked it.

So the 'key takeaway' is: make sure you happen to be at SPLC during one of Ciska's cooking sessions! 😋
